Pocket PC Devices: New O2 XDA Orbit Minimize

Pocket PC Mobile: The New XDA Orbit by O2

The O2 XDA Orbit (to be released by German O2), features to be the perfect (almost) pocket pc mobile device. It is small in size and elegant. The glossy black colour reminds you of the O2 Atom, but this device has it all: Phone functionality (GSM, GPRS), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IrDA, FM Radio, and build in GPS.

The XDA Orbit will come with integrated TomTom navigation system, with pre-loaded maps of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (on a 512 MB MicroSD). The device will also feature a track ball and navigation wheel for more usability and ease of navigation.
For connectivity, this device has it all, WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS Receiver, FM Radio!

Compared to HTC P3300 this device has the excellent design touch of O2 and compared to T-MOBILE MDA COMPACT III, the O2 XDA Orbit has built in Wi-Fi. It seems like the ‘perfect’ mobile device for this period. The only think that it may be a disadvantage for this phone is the slow processor of 200 MHZ. At first this sounds like a disadvantage but we will have to wait and see the phone in action…
