The G500+ Pocket PC Phone with built-in GPS is one of the pocket pc devices that has both Phone and GPS functionality all in one device. The G500 is Quad-band GSM and has GPRS support together with an embedded SiRF Star III chipset for GPS Functionality. It runs a Samsung processor at 400MHz and it is pre-loaded with Windows Mobile 5.0. G500 has Bluetooth V2.0 class 2, but it has no WI-FI connectivity.

The G500+ includes an increased 256MB of flash memory (double the previous capacity) enabling users to store information such as contacts and files, additional applications, or extra GPS maps directly on the device without the need for additional memory cards. The newly integrated FM radio supports advanced RDS functionality and boasts an intuitive interface, which makes it easy to search for broadcasts in the area, providing useful access to local news and updates, or for providing entertainment on long journeys.

E-TEN includes several exclusive software utilities designed to deliver the best possible GPS experience. Included are; Satellite Data Update, a utility which can shorten the positioning time of GPS signals to as little as 10-20 seconds by enabling a quick link to satellite records from E-TEN's own servers, and also the potentially life saving a Location SMS application which allows a user's GPS coordinates to be sent to any SMS enabled phone at the touch of a button aiding the rapid response of emergency services in a critical situation.
