HTC P4350 (Herald)

Pocket PC Phone : HTC P4350 (Herald)

htcp4350.jpgHTC will release a new pocket pc phone, the HTC P4350 - codename HTC Herald. The device will have a sliding QWERTY keyboard and will run Windows Mobile 5.0. It is a similar device to the upcoming ETEN M700. Unlike the HTC TyTN the HTC P4350 (Herald) will not have support for 3G but it will be Quad-band GSM with GPRS and EDGE. The processor will be a TI OMAP 200 MHZ with 128 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM. In terms of connectivity the device will have built-in WI-FI and will support bluetooth 2.0.

The HTC P4350 (Herald) will be another device from HTC with a sliding QWERTY keyboard but targeted for those who want a cheap device and do not care for 3G support. The TI OMAP processor at 200 MHZ will increase battery talk time but will impose constraints on the use of applications (like SKYPE for example) and gaming.
