Then ETEN M700 will be the new pocket pc phone from ETEN Corporation. The device has similar specifications like the newly released ETEN Glofiish X500 but with a different design. The ETEN M700 will have a sliding QWERTY keyboard like the HTC TyTN, the upcoming O2 XDA Zinc and the upcoming HTC P4350 (HTC Herald). Apart from the external design the hardware specifications of the new ETEN M700 will be similar to Glofiish X500. The processor will be a 400 MHZ Samsung with 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM. The display will be 2.8 " (240X320 Resolution) and the camera will be at 2.0 mega-pixels with support for upto 1600 X 1200 resolution. For expansion the new device will have a MicroSD Card Slot. It is not clear yet if the device will also have a built-in GPS receiver or if it will offer 3G support. It is more likely though to have a GPS receiver built-in (we are used to ETEN devices with built-in GPS) but no 3G.
An upcoming pocket pc phone by HTC, the HTC P4350 (know as HTC Herald) will have a similar design with the ETEN M700 but it will have a TI OMAP 200 MHZ processor with no 3G support or built in GPS.
